In homeschooling, there's no such thing as behind.

Maybe you've heard experienced homeschool moms say this...and maybe you've even said it yourself!

But when it comes to choosing curriculum, finding friends, or even deciding when to take a break...

Worry creeps in.

If you want to be a mom who serves, leads, and educates her kids well, you need to resist the pressure to make your homeschool a race.

I can show you how.

Hurrying never helps...and it has consequences.

 Hurrying makes problems worse.

Have you ever skimmed over a recipe too quickly, then realized at the end that you forgot a crucial step or ingredient? Or tried to race out the door and dropped your keys behind the console in your van? When you feel behind, hurrying makes you more behind! When you feel the urge to hurry up in your homeschool, it's usually a sign you need to slow down even more.

Hurrying makes you wish yourself into the future.

"Someday when..." is the tired refrain of weary homeschool moms who think life will slow down on its own. But you are the one who gets to pick your speed, mama! It's a big responsibility, but also a special gift. When you go slower, you'll finally understand that your life is happening now, not "someday."

 Hurrying makes you lonely.

Busy people rarely have the margin to spend quality time with other people. The faster you go, the more you'll feel like your family and friends don't understand you. The more you hurry, the more you'll be gripped by entitlement and impatience. People matter less when you're going fast.

Here's the good news: you get to choose the pace of your homeschool!

It’s a good thing that you want to homeschool your kids with excellence. It means you care about their todays and their tomorrows. But putting productivity above people won't make your homeschool excellent at all.

When you slow down you will be able to enjoy your homeschool, troubleshoot when there's tension, and step out of the education rat race for good!

Imagine...

Feeling stuck in your homeschool and responding with curiosity instead of self-sabotage and shame.

Feeling prepared for the inevitable changes your kids go through instead of being blindsided by them.

Knowing that recalibrating routines and resources in your homeschool is part of your progress and not getting in the way of it.

Living in the freedom you already have in Christ instead of pretending that His grace doesn’t apply to your homeschool life.

Connecting with your kids as you lead them gently and learn with them joyfully.

If we haven't met...

My name is Laura and I used to feel like a failure because I moved slower than everyone else.

But God, in His mercy, led me into a season of "mandatory slowness” to show me that my worth is in Him alone, not in how quickly I accomplish things.

Even now, I feel the world pulling me toward a faster pace and longer To Do list…but I have truth and tools to resist that pull and create a gentle, faith-filled homeschool life for my family.

I want to share those tools with you so you can have this peace, joy, and abundant trust in God’s timing, too! Join me for the free workshop. Let me tell you about what we'll cover...
